Richtech is a privately owned and independently operated company providing engineering services for the oil and gas industry. Our areas of expertise include facility and structural, floating production and subsea pipelines.

Richtech was incorporated in Texas in 2003, and has over 120 direct employees worldwide. Led by technical specialists in Houston, and incorporating engineering resources in China, Richtech delivers high quality and cost competitive solutions to its clients in China, United States, Southeast Asia, West Africa and the Middle East.

Richtech offers engineering, consulting and project management services to its client worldwide.
The engineering services cover all phases, from feasibility studies to detail design and our solutions will meet all requirements of the fields lifecycle. The geological consulting services offer clients effective solutions in geological exploration, reservoir evaluation and other specialty requests from customers. Richtech has successfully extended our business into project management services, which includes EPC contract consulting, Construction management services, and QA/QC Services.

Richtech has formed three joint ventures with its US and Chinese business partners

  • A joint venture with NDE Quality Systems Inc,. A Houston based company specialized on quality assurance and inspection services.

  • A joint venture with China Shipbuilding Industry Company (CSIC), A Shanghai based ship design and construction company.

  • A joint venture with Subsea 7, the third largest subsea installation company focusing on subsea, riser and pipeline engineering.

Richtech development milestones:

In 2004: The first company to introduce PDMS to China for piping design on offshore platforms, which has greatly increased the design efficiency.

In 2004: The Research & Development team was established and obtained two patents for marginal field developments.

In 2005: The subsea production system design team was founded, and developed its engineering capability in this new area.

In 2006: The project management team began working for clients to provide project management services to construction projects of overseas clients

In 2007: The geology exploration group was started and extended its services to operators in West Africa.

In the last five years, Richtech has been expanding its global presence and building its client base worldwide. With its international standard of service, using the latest in technological advances and our high work efficiency, over 50% of Richtech’s revenue now comes from international projects.
