January 26, 2010: Richtech sponsors OMAE 2010 (ASME 29th International Conference on Ocean, Offshore and Arctic Engineering)
Richtech becomes the Corporate Sponsor for OMAE 2010, an International Conference on Ocean Offshore and Arctic Engineering in Shanghai, China from June 6-11, 2010.
Organized by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the Ocean, Offshore and Arctic Engineering (OOAE) Division of the International Petroleum Technology Institute (IPTI), and the Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), OMAE’s goal is to meet and present advances in technology and its scientific support; to exchange ideas and experiences whilst promoting technological progress and its application in industry; and to promote international cooperation in ocean, offshore and arctic engineering.

During Oct 20 and 21, 2009, Mr. Tao Qi, the R&D Director presented in the 2ND Offshore Oil and Gas Equipment Development Strategy Conference, and discussed the China's Marine Engineering's current equipment status, policies and measures.

Thirteen engineers from Richtech Instrument Electrical, Process & Mechanical, Piping Departments participated in SIPPE 2009 Shanghai 4TH International Petroleum Petrochemical Natural Gas Technology Equipment Exhibition, explored the suppliers and collected the technical data.

Exhibition on Ocean Engineering Technology and Equipment” in Shanghai
Led by the Vice President, Marketing, five staffs from Richtech attended the “Summit on Development of China Shipbuilding Industry and Ocean Engineering” and “China International Exhibition on Ocean Engineering Technology and Equipment” in Shanghai from 23rd to 24th of July. By exchanging the engineering experience with the attendees, we learnt the new technology from the Shipbuilders and Offshore companies as well. In the meanwhile, we realize the new technology will meet the industry developing trend definitely.

The Richtech was received the Gold Medal for the Best Engineering by both Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering Construction Quality Award Committee and the China Petroleum Engineering Construction Association for the CNOOC BZ34-1 Project Design.

The Commercial Dep. and PMT has been trained for the ISO9001:2008 Standards. Throughout the seminar, the trainees were able to understand the critical points in the new version of ISO standards.

The PMT and Instrument Electrical engineers went to Siemens' Plant to study the manufacturing process.

Febuary 28, 2009: Completed the ChangQing FPSO Production System Conversion Engineering Design for COOEC
On February 28, Richtech has completed the basic and detail designs for the FPSO for COOEC, which has been used for 17 years and would be utilized by oil filed. After topside conversion, the FPSO would be operated additional 15 years and the adjusted topside facilities would meet the new oil filed operation.
January 15, 2009: Completion of "Study on Codes and Standards for Unmanned Platform"
Richtech delivered a study about the Codes and Standards of Unmanned Platform to CNOOC on January 15, 2009. The study provides a better understanding about engineering of the unmanned platforms and its utilizations in the world.
