Project Summary:
- Focuses on the small diameter subsea pipeline and to select an economic and applicable pipeline laying plan.
- 4-6 inch pipe diameter, 7km length, with/without thermal insulation and concrete layer
- Considering sea state , weather conditions of East China Sea
- Considering construction capability and resource of China and Southeast Asia.
Project Responsibility:
- Analyze the technological feasibility of the traditional “S” lay method, reel lay and towing.
- Analyze if it is feasible to build a simple reel lay devices for small diameter pipes.
- Analyze the technical possibility of towing pipe
in East China Sea - Economic and risk assessment of various pipe laying methods, and generate a best plan.
