Richtech offers facility design and engineering services for all phases, processes and components of oil and gas production including; oil/gas/water separation, produced water treatment and disposal, gas compression, gas dehydration, emergency flare systems, NGL production and enhanced oil recovery. Our professional facilities team includes project managers, engineers and designers with extensive offshore and onshore experience. Our team is experienced in managing multi-disciplines through effective communication in all disciplines for the successful execution and on time delivery of our projects. We strive to design and build superior facilities with less rework while avoiding cost overruns which can quickly escalate with the breakdown of communication as a leading factor.

Richtech’s experience in over 30 oil and gas field developments and the design of over 20 topside platform facilities, while providing tailored and optimal solutions to the projects ranging from greenfield to revamp is qualified with our proven track record amongst our clients.

The CNOOC project manager of BJT platform said: Based on his experience, he has never seen another topside facility built as efficient as this one, “the design and layout of the facility is so well organized.” The project manager of BZ34-1 platform commented that the piping design of this platform “is one of the best he has been involved with in Bohai Bay area.”

Richtech’s capability in facility design and engineering is detailed as follows.

Process & Mechanical Design and Engineering

  • Provide process design and analysis, develop and optimize PFD and PID, provide special studies for key problems
  • Prepare specifications and datasheets for procurement
  • Provide safe chart, Hazop analysis, and fire safety system engineering.
  • Provide preliminary cost estimate
  • Software capability: HYSYS, ASPEN for simulation and HTRI for exchange calculation check

Instrument & Electrical Design and Engineering
  • Electrical system design, including power system, lighting system, and earthing system. Design and engineering follows either NEC or IEC
  • Telecommunication system design
  • Instrumentation and control system design and engineering, professional experienced in a variety of systems, including SCADA, DCS, Delta-V,PLC
  • Software capability: INTOOLS, ETAP

  • All engineers are proficient in PDMS, PDS and MDS
